When will I be able to purchase products on this site?

At Jewson we are committed to making our website as useful to our customers as possible, and are working hard to continually improve it. However, we are not currently planning to make the site transactional. We will continue to review this alongside the site contents and will keep you informed of any pending changes via the site.

I have not received the literature I have requested. What should I do?

My search is producing no hits, am I doing something wrong?

The search mechanism scans all of the text in the site in search of your specified keywords. If it is not returning any results you may have to choose a more general keyword.

You can enlarge the scope of your search by using more than one keyword and using 'OR' in between them. Conversely, you can reduce the scope of your search by using more than one keyword and placing 'AND' between them.

When I enter my town into the branch locator nothing comes up. How can I find a branch near me?

There's a number of things that could have gone wrong, so please try the following suggestions to help resolve your issue

  1. Have you selected the Town search option? Could you have selected Postcode or County by mistake?
  2. Have you tried searching by Postcode or County? These search options give a wider range of results that may assist you in your search.
  3. If searching using the Town option, it often happens that smaller suburban branches are classified under a major regional centre. Try searching on your nearest regional centre.
  4. If you are focused on trying to find a Jewson with a particular specialisation, conduct a search using only the Services field. This will provide you with a list of all of the Jewson branches with Sawmills, for example, in the UK.
