Renowned for quality and reliability Briton products have been tested to the latest European standards and are CE marked where applicable. Briton have recently improved their door closer range to offer a simplified range of door closers with clear feature and benefit steps demonstrating which products should be used for which application.

The Briton 376E series of exit devices are fully CE marked indicating that they have been tested to all the latest European standards, including EN1125 and EN179.

EN1125 products should be used on all buildings accessed by the general public, whilst EN179 products can be used in low occupancy buildings where everyone is trained in the location and use of the fire doors. If in any doubt as to who will be using a building always select a product tested to EN1125.

Jewson Professional Door Closer

Jewson's Professional Door Closer is a template adjustable closer, power sizes 2-4, to suit the most popular door sizes. It is not CE marked and is suitable for use in non-fire door applications only.

Complete with a 10 year guarantee this closer is available in 3 colours: silver, gold and white with matching arms, and is an ideal, cost effective solution for low traffic doors, which need to be self closing for convenience rather than fire protection.

Other features include a separate latch action and closing speed adjustment and optional hold open armset, complete with a cam action knuckle, which is suitable for either hand of door.
